Spinner of Fate, 2026 Archival pigment printing on canson rag 120 x 90 x 5 cmI am drawn to subjects that occupy a threshold between beauty and unease. The spiderweb is an object of remarkable contradiction, an architecture spun from the body of its maker, almost invisible until illuminated by moisture and light. Here, the web becomes an extension of the human form, echoing the intricate networks that shape identity, memory and desire.
Spinner of Fate also references mythological traditions in which destiny is woven, spun or threaded into existence.
