This work deliberately unsettles the conventions of landscape photography. A daylight scene is transformed through long exposure and artificial illumination into an ambiguous nocturnal space where temporal certainty collapses. The saturated red light fractures natural description, while the extended exposure records duration rather than an instant. Chemical staining, splashes, and material degradation further disrupt photography’s claim to verisimilitude, asserting the print as a physical object
