This small cup reflects my continued journey into the cup as artistic form. I begin with a wheel thrown vessel which I then expose to multiple alterations. I cut, twist, add to and subtract form. The original vessel is pushed beyond its recognisable narrative and takes on new and endless interpretations. In my exploration I attempt to challenge the viewer by referencing the original form and questioning its new material presence. Cup.
