The sunset was so gaudy only God could get away with it, 2025 acrylic on canvas 200 x 200 cmMost artists start with chaos and arrive at order. Here however the image began with order through the repetitious certainty of the grid and arrived at a swarming field of chaotic pattern of black and orange. The random patterning of the grid's hypnotic rhythm tests its ability to capture both visual and physical sensations. As Homer suggests in 'The Odyssey' like the sun too awesome to look at it.
