There are a number of items I have collected over the years that stay with me and live in my studio, for whatever reason these define my aesthetic and are important to me as reminders of what is at the core of my aesthetic values. They are a mixutre of vintage items, things my father kept in his cellar, or in some cases things I have found by chance. This is a still life of those items, painted of course on my paint mixing table, which was originally the phone table at my parents home.
