‘Road-3’ is a painting from my latest body of work capturing the landscapes of Northern Africa. I’ve always been captivated by the shifting light and colour of evening time and how it can change the feeling of a place. Shadows create mystery and ignite the imagination whilst the softening pink haze is deeply calming. The photographic nature is blurred to capture the intangible essence of a moment, something in between reality and memory.
