'Sandstone Rockface - Erosion #3' is from a series that references a sandstone cliff face at Depot Beach in Murramarang National Park on the NSW South Coast. I have been recording changes in this cliff for about ten years with drawings, rubbings and photographs. In 2023, I saw massive erosion of the surface due to storm activity. I am responding to the rock face that has become fragile and delicate, the pale sandstone is stained with oxides that wash down from soils and plant matter above.
