As our built environment shifts and changes across the Newcastle landscape, it creates new ways of seeing this ancient harbour Mulubinba. I’ve been drawing from building interiors, trying to capture fleeting glimpses of the wider, natural landscape. The windows I’ve chosen are connected to historically significant buildings where the viewer can conceive of existences from within these spaces, both real, and imagined. I tell a story of the land and of the building, and lives lived within the four walls.
