Within this work, I navigate the multifaceted influences of Australian identity, grappling with conflicting emotions surrounding my heritage. I am intrigued by the concept of a chosen identity made up of a few different influences. This environment stands in stark juxtaposition to the profound discoveries I have made about my direct indigenous family and ancestors, catalyzing the emergence of the third space.
