The Self and the Others, 2025 photograph on photo rag 80 x 64 cmA uranium glass butter dish was left on photopaper for two weeks in a photographic black bag and then processed in the darkroom. The resulting central image is one created without external light. The light came from within. This is a metaphor for the emerging self. The surrounding family images, plus my own photography, have mysterious codes that counterplay with this central image; there is always a curious and ineffable relationship between the self, others and one's past.
