My images are made with a constant acknowledgement of apparatus and environment by using digital and analogue methods of photographing and printing. 'Red Chandelier' was made in response to the confusion of perception, created through a multitude of layered photographic processes. By enlarging the image to a monumental scale, the traces and tonal intersections within the print become pronounced and unavoidable, creating a surreal and dizzying rendition of colour and form.
